Learning Management System (Canvas) new features


IT implements, maintains, and supports central university-wide systems to manage course and content, share materials within a course, communicate with a class, create online assignments or collect assignments completed off-line, assess student learning, using tools such as rubrics or a competency structure, organize a Gradebook and submit final grades to the student information system.

Faculty have the opportunity to request enhancements to the learning management system that are not currently available by submitting an idea to the Canvas community website.

There is no charge for this service as it is part of IT's core support for the USF Community.

How to request this service

To request enhancements to Canvas, please visit the Canvas Community and go to the Feature Request group to make your request. 

If you are looking to integrate 3rd party software with Canvas, typically referred to as LTI, please submit a service request form.
