List of Services:
Housing servers: Physically house servers for other units in the CFRDC computer room, providing a physcially secure and environmentally protected environment. This service does not include any server administration, backups, etc.
Administering servers: Provide server administration for Windows and Unix based servers. This can include installation of operationing system software, application software, backups, security upgrades, etc.
Remote backups: Using Tivoli's backup software and an IBM robotic tape unit (LTO tapes), we offer backup services to units for servers in locations around the campus. This service includes a weekly rotation of tapes to a secure commercial facility for disaster recovery purposes.
Web Site hosting: House a web site and associated data. Cost is dependent on the amount of data to be stored. For more information about our web services, click here.
SQL Database hosting: House SQL databases on IT/CFRDC's SQL servers. Eliminate the cost and maintenance of SQL server. Costs vary depending on the amount of data storage requested.
File and Print: Similar to hosting SQL databases, we offer file and print services.
